About the Author

Amy Nielsen was born and raised in the Philippines and earned a bachelor's degree in English from Saint Louis University, Baguio City. She worked as Regional Youth Coordinator at a youth center giving seminars, retreats, recollections, organizing regional and national youth assemblies. Her work required a lot of travelling so she stoppped after five years and worked instead as Executive Staff at an importer/distributor company in Manila. She migrated to Denmark in 2001 to settle with her Danish husband. She had no hint that she will become a writer one day although she noticed already before, even when she was a little girl that she loved to browse and read any reading materials available in her hands. She felt the interest to write when she was in college, but she took it for granted. The right time and opportunity came when she migrated to Denmark. She's currently writing a sequel to Victor and the Sun Orb, which she titled Victor and the Seven Circles of Darkness, and in between she writes a memoir as is being requested by a good friend of her.
